You might think it's profound but everyone else will be.... no just no I'll stick to the real names.
No big deal, it's the victimhood and the the persecution complex that is mostly unbecoming.

Jan Smuts International Airport?
That is a business..... Cities generally don't change names unless a political point is made and the name is forced on the populace.... and depending on the politics those name changes don't always stick.

The changing of city names exclusively from one group of ethnicities to others is by definition ethnic cleansing..... this is not just a "complex" it's actually happening especially if you add the forced removal of statues and language specific to these ethnicities.

In isolation you might have a point but not if you add all these small things together.... they call it decolonization but it's really the tip of something much darker. Especially if you know that "colonization of a special type" refers to permanent settlers rather than colonials.

I'm pretty certain the airport down the road changed it's name away from Jan Smuts for political reasons.

Somehow I think the foreign obsession with "ethnic SA" might have had more to do with it.

Large businesses that crave foreign income are basically whores in practice.

What is stopping them from learning how to pronounce it properly? With a bit of effort, it can be done.
The tongues are too heavy to click and the throats get too sore from the ultra heavy G's.

Not trying is better than pain.

There have been some places renamed after whites, coloreds and Indians. I can think of Alan Paton, Helen Suzman, Joe Slovo, (the new Stuurman airport in PE).

This is nonsense, to say the least, surely you could come up with a better excuse.

Some whites have been able to learn African pronunciations and languages.

I tried to pronounce gerberra..... it hurt.

Find a name that does not hurt and you will get further.

It seems like you are intent on victimhood.

Paton and Suzmann were not communists (maybe you might think so because they opposed Apartheid, I can't think of another valid reason) and Stuurman is unlikely to have been either.
Says the same user that does not agree that the ANC is communist in nature.....

EDIT: this is war mate, I at least am aware of it.

This sounds like something from the AWB handbook.
When you have no argument and you proceed to terribly implemented ad homonyms...

You forgot boeremag and broederbond and whoever is apparently "on the same whatsapp group"

Yeah, I knew I was going to regret getting into a conversation with you, yet I still did, I will never learn.
