Delivery driver crackdown in South Africa

South Africa's Home Affairs and Employment and Labour departments have high-risk employment sectors at their sites and could soon crack down on illegal workers in the on-demand delivery space.

This could pose a significant challenge for on-demand and fast food delivery services like Bolt, Checkers Sixty60, Pick n Pay asap!, and Uber Eats.

Send them back to their 8th world countries, they destroy everything, piss everywhere, litter everywhere, drive like they are on some village road with no rules, they stand by the robots with their infant kids to beg(disgusting)... They are a massive nuisance.

You can vet uber/bolt or whatever as much as you like up front but the drivers and their bikes very rarely match who delivers the food much of the time. Most are “sub contractors” using the actual uber drivers phone.

Just kill the demand for cheap labour if that is possible.

And they all become like Arnold when deported....................I'll be back (and they do get straight back)
Back a week later while the SAP has to deal with sick leave because of all their staff trying to pat themselves on the back.

Maybe, they should go on a very serious quest to improve their service delivery, first. Then the "Green ID Book" issue will resolve itself.
