i tried that beer making stuff this weekend, it's quite a bit of fun. i made a marzen
step mashed a simple grainbill consisting of pilsen,munich and cara clair, hitting 80% mash efficiency and my self designed recipe numbers on the nose. i bittered with perle and finished off with mittelfruh. decent balance and stylistically on point. pitched skare. whole thing took about 3 hours and it should be ready for the keg in about 10 days or so but i'll condition it a bit longer before carbing.
Anyone know anything about the euromalt that Beerplus is now stocking? It's a good price for 25kg bag.
