Ok. But can I bottle it or what should I do? Bottle with less priming sugar or leave for now?

That's tough to say :) by adding the sugar and stirring you have introduced a lot of variables and I also dont know your recipe.

So I see on tv tonight, the system is starting to get all hot under the collar about the home brewing industry.
Plenty of scare tactics, dire warnings about this and that, poisoning etc.

Poisoning is possible...just more likely for distilling not beer making at all... unless you drop poison in...

that's what i meant yes ... this specific recipe is meant to be DH about 3 days BEFORE bottling, so way after fermentation is finished.

It's mostly only NEIPA's that gets hopped during fermentation .... and the whole thing about introducing O² when you DH is overrated ... you open the lid, drop the hops and then immediately close the lid ... Stop stressing, as I bet you're introducing more O² during bottling than what you would during a DH :p
Yeah fair enough, that makes sense.
Im always a little paranoid about anything that can affect my beer, its a long process and the idea of me ruining it near the end isnt great.
I know its pretty hard to completely ruin a beer but its also hard to drink beer that isnt great!

So I finally got around to getting my Coopers Belgium Wheat Ale on. I added 1kg dextrose to the 1kg DME and 250g of multidextrose to the mix. The dextrose is to up the ABV content which I read somewhere on a forum devoted to the Coopers product. I hope it works.

I managed to get the temp down to 29 deg before putting in the yeast. On Sunday morning the lid of the fermenter had popped off on one side and a bit of wort had bubbled out. The airlock had also been breached. Anyway, I fixed everything up and it's bubbling away like crazy.

Picking up another 20l of wort tomorrow so decided to pressure test the new fermenter. :D

Happy to report no leaks.

I've got a feeling this co2 setup is going to be handy when I'm transferring from the fermenter without the tap.

Man I am allergic to taps.... They are such a pig to ensure they are kept clean
In future I'm using the tapped ones for the secondary - I'll syphon from the untapped ones into those using co2.

If you are kegging then sure no taps all the way. I just use a tap on my bottling bucket with a bottle filling wand, fermentors definitely dont need a tap.

You are going to need to leave it to ferment out before trying to bottle, there are too many variables and you will either end up under carbed or with bottle bombs if you do it too early.
You cant wait too long after adding priming sugar before bottling, it can get quite active in a short space of time.

How do you get the beer from the fermenter into the bottling bucket then?

On a different note, my beerlab order was involved in an accident with the courier. "Pieces", their word not mine, of my package have arrived at the depot...

Get an auto siphon. Taps really are the devil. Agreed you need a tap on a bottling bucket though. But that's also easier to clean as you have such little contact time. My issue with taps on fermenters is you take samples and then the beer stays in the tap. You can spray some sanitizer in after taking a sample, but still...

yeah i prefer to siphon off into the bottling bucket, that way also you can batch prime for carbonation and add anything else required without worrying about disturbing the trub
