I would re-use it. R30 saving is a R30 saving.
+1 especially if it's for one of his crapple brews. Only issue is he dry hopped so might have to wash it.

I've never done it, how long does it take to harvest and prepare the yeast before you can use it again?I would re-use it. R30 saving is a R30 saving.

Yea, not spending hours trying to save R30-60. I'd rather spend an hour at my actual job and earn enough money to buy many, many packets of yeast. I guess it's worth it if you do it for the "science/technique" etc part of it, but not worth it for the money. Some okes here just get the next wort ready and moer it into the fermentor after they have drained the existing beer. I have done the full yeast washing and it is a couple of hours of work.

Well if you put it like that. I had it in my head that you'd spend hours separating yeast from trub, going at it like Dexters laboratoryScoop about 200ml of the trub/yeast at the bottom of the fermenter into a glass jar ... seal and store in fridge for next brew ... pitch directly from fridge into fresh wort. Been doing it like that for years. Did about 15 brews on pack of yeast. There's a guy on YT that's been brewing for over 2 years from ONE pouch of liquid yeast.
So yeah, saving way more than R30

Maybe I'll wait until the blonde ale is done.+1 especially if it's for one of his crapple brews. Only issue is he dry hopped so might have to wash it.
Go for it...I did it with my MJ's Cider yeast and that was a saving of R60Fair enough. I was just thinking about using it in my next batch of crapple.

I rack or bottle off the yeast. Then I swirl the slurry in the bottom and pour it into a sanitized jar, label it and stick it in the fridge. 30 seconds of work. Next brew I take that jar, open it and just pour it straight into the wort. Done.Yea, not spending hours trying to save R30-60. Why do you have that in the first place is a better question. Can I reuse these?

First off - King of Beers - it's written on the bottles. I can upload a larger image if that helps? Why do you have that in the first place is a better question.

Yup this is the way to do it for sure. I have a few 1L Consol jars in my fridge that are gathered from just pouring the trub layer in. Pop them right into the next batch of wort and its all good.Scoop about 200ml of the trub/yeast at the bottom of the fermenter into a glass jar ... seal and store in fridge for next brew ... pitch directly from fridge into fresh wort.
