I did a partial mash over the weekend, was wondering what is everybody's best way of removing the trub?

Explain ?

I added Irish moss in the boil, as a starting point. After I chilled brew pot in an ice bath. It was time to decant into the fermentor, I poured contents through sieve. Is there a more efficient way? I'm looking for clarity in my beer as an end goal.

What I usually do is using either a secondary fermenter and then a bottling bucket (to batch prime) or straight from primary to bottling bucket. But I also add finings / gelatine about 3 to 4 days before I bottle, and so far no complaints

Everything that is in my brew pot ends up in the fermenter.

When it comes to clarity - look at cold crashing your beer before bottling / kegging. Racking to a bottling buckets helps as well.

Sterilise and boil a stocking or panty hose (new not used lol) and strain through it when moving to secondary or bottling bucket.

Just a headsup if you're in Cape Town, the Southyeasters bi-monthly competition next occurs in March.
This one should be interesting, as all entered brews can use only the following ingredients:

Pale Malt
120-150 Crystal Malt
Southern Promise Hops
US-05 Yeast

Should be pretty interesting to see what people come up with.

Nice. Thanks for the link.

I heard that Dis-chem might have as well. Will check there first. If not, I will order from The Beer Keg.

Btw, how is the Beer Keg? My brother-in-law has ordered from them before, but he will never again since the products he received were pretty bad quality?

I have tried Dischem before but had no luck if you do find it somewhere else I would appreciate if you let us know.
I have ordered quite a bit from them without issue and they have gone out of their way to do deliveries before they officially made deliveries so I only had good experiences. What went wrong with your brother in laws order?

I have used both Beer guevara and the beer keg and in my experience the service from beer guevara has been much more efficient. YMMV, but I now only use the BG guys.
