Even in the US there's only three major players. This business sector is sadly prone to oligopolistic tinges. Most consumers are not here to chop and change networks (I suspect even if it were easier to do so) and market share is thus thoroughly consolidated.Just sell Cellc already.
There is no incentive to remain with the network.
They are basically just surviving from the crumbs of the other 3.
There are 3 major ones but then a number of smaller geographic ones. We should have gone the same model instead of making everyone roll out everywhere.Even in the US there's only three major players. Three hundred and thirty million citizens and that land mass will do that. I moved over to Telkom. It appears that Cell C is making even more changes to the HCF packages. We may now have to pay to extend data after 60 days i.e. after the first rollover has expired. I think the changes are going to be implemented on April 6 2022 so you should try to roll over any unused data that will be expiring before 6th of April otherwise you may lose it if you have already rolled it over previously. See Paragraph 20 below.
This is the SMS that I received advising me of the latest changes ...

For this I wouldn't fault them if everyone else only allows a max of 30 days rollover, and thereafter you lose any remaining data.It appears that Cell C is making even more changes to the HCF packages.
