If you want to save money - and have the time - keep an eye on the "auction" sites.

Used furniture / fittings generally have a very low resale price.

they have some nice stuff, they are a bit pricey on some things though, will take a look at their site thanks :)

edit: damn unless i am an idiot they only advertise their larger items on the site

No, the stuff on the site is generally the cheaper variants... A lot of their furniture is exactly the same as furniture wharehouse, but at double the price.

If you ok with Beechwood etc, Studio Blue in Pineslopes has some really well priced stuff.

Would not recommend Mr Price, find their stuff really crappy and will not last long. Yes they are well priced, but I find the durability of their items really questionable.

Woolies is having sale now, so get their kitchen stuff and deco stuff really cheap now. I was at Design Quarters on Sunday and they had a ton of stuff. You can also get your linen on sale there.

Remember buy high thread count linen etc that will last much longer. e.g. Loads of Living and Woolies, just not Sheet Street etc.

If you looking for couches etc. I got mine from the guy that supplies Wetherleys with their leather couches. he also makes up dining room tables etc.

So let me know.

Furniture warehouse is also good for wooden furniture. Weatherlys sometimes stock their products but at 200%-300% of what they bought it for from FW.
