I have tried all types of wipers on my Honda and none have come close to the ones sold by Honda (Which are a crazy price).

The problem in SA is Honda sells the complete blade, whereas overseas Honda sells just the rubber/silicone blade which is way cheaper.

I hope they work out for you, but my experience is that they won't last long.

I've been using the same Bosch blades on my 2010 Civic for the last 3 years.

Still work the same as they did on day one.

Great cars. I'm on 182K on the clock, with the only repairs being due to a nasty pothole and minor wear and tear - shocks, tyres, tie rod ends, and sway bar links.
I've a 2007 Honda Civic and found that brake pads, shocks and tie rods pack in from our terrible roads. Just done 136,000 Kms.

Interesting.

Perhaps it is an issue with the shape of the Jazz windscreen. I've tried Bosch, Champion (Which make the Honda Blades), and numerous others. They all give issues, but particularly the passenger side wiper which sometimes starts to shudder within weeks. The Honda one works for years.

The gf is driving a 2013 Jazz, it was bought in 2016.
We haven't done blades on it yet, I'll check later today what make they are out of curiosity.

They sold me the rubber inners 6 years ago. Just the inners cost the same as getting an aftermarket set of blades. They're still working fine to this day.

They have worked well for me but I do replace every two years. More out of my fault from dirt on the windscreens than the actual product.

Update on brake noise

It is much better after doing a couple of longer trips than a school run. I can now hear it's a chunk of the brake pad material and not the entire brake pad.

I drive now regularly a winding road from Somerset West to Kleinmond and no impact on breaking performance.

Still sounds expensive for brakes on a run of the mill car, the cars are overpriced and the parts even more, may good Chinese products continue to multiply in the land.
I don't think so. R1400 for pads and disc is decent in my view. On my old MK6 GTI pads alone were around R1500.
