Honda HR-V

I don't think the Captur is in the same segment as the Honda. To me the Honda was much bigger. Exterior and interior.

I don't think the Renault is in the same segment as the Honda

Fixed it for you.
FOC

I've had Renaults: Renault 4L, Scenic 2L, Clio Sport and I've had Civic, Jazz and CR-V.

Never mind the same page, never mind chapter, never mind the same book, not even in the same library.

Haha, I also love my Hondas.

The Hr-v is the second best looking Honda , the civic is first.

The 2017 Honda HR-V Is Fine

Verdict

The 2017 Honda HR-V is slow, and its infotainment system is a mess, but if you’re not in too much of a hurry, it’s an affordable companion that shouldn’t let you down.

This thing’s stellar practicality will come in handy when you’ll need it the most, its low running costs won’t ruin your budget when your life crumbles down, and it won’t do you shame when you’ll be attempting to re-couple with a new life partner on a first date.

As much as I despise crossovers, the 2017 Honda HR-V makes a hell of a lot of sense as a cheap, reliable and straight to the point daily driver.

Honda HR-V Black Edition 2017 review

Should I buy one?

In a decade or so, when the used buying guides are being written about the current glut of small SUVs, the Honda HR-V will make for a good recommendation, and this new Black Edition version perhaps even more so.

Being spacious, economical, solidly built and reliable (well, not to count chickens, but this is a Honda and it's one based on a Jazz) will count for a lot, as will the extra kit and desirability, such as bigger alloys and a full leather interior.

But back in 2017, the HR-V Black Edition feels old before its time and lacks even the tiniest bit of dynamic sparkle.

It’s just so anonymous in every way, and turning every surface black only adds to that sense of anonymity. Come back in 2027, Honda HR-V Black Edition, and we’ll talk then.
