Horrible pings and bad Spikes

I have a 10gb promo 5 contract , 99% signal strength and live about 300m away from the tower. I live in Paarl , Western Cape

For the last 2-3 weeks my 8ta has been really S*&#t . Normally I would get a ping of between 200 -220 ms on league of legends which is a international server , but lately my ping has been hovering between 250 -280 normal and spiking every couple of minutes to 5000ms..

Basically the download completely stops for 5 seconds, this is not on. Cant have a service that doesn't work properly.

This is happening on local servers as well , i would play and then for 5 seconds there is no through output.

I have never experienced so many disconnects as in the last 2 weeks, Is there a SAT cable down or are the routing table completely f%&@ed up on telkoms side... I suggest you get your tech's to fix this .. and dont send anyone to my house , its telkom related .

You have sent tech's top my house in the past , 2 times and both times it was confirmed that its telkom related,

Who is experiencing the above mentioned?

FIX THIS ALREADY and UPDATE A FELLOW>>>>

As far as I know, the SAT issues have been resolved. The only thing I can think of is congestion.

Occasional spikes are typical for 8ta. This is network issue (possibly data counters), it has nothing to do with congestion. I reported it many times in this place, engineers tried to resolve it by limiting peak throughput, finally gave up and peak speed returned to normal. Not a big problem, as extraordinary no-response periods are about 1.5 and generally there are no disconnects. Five seconds could kill your TCP/IP sockets, certainly.

Occasional spikes are acceptable but not every 5min... And like I stated the upload and download counter on my 8ta panel is dead for 5 seconds and then jumps back on ... This happens quite a few times in the day.. Its not normal and this service is becoming the laughing stock of 3g..

8ta was the best but not anymore... customer service sucks , internet is horrible and these occuring issues are not going away...

Give us a good reason why we as a community should still pay for this service and why do we have to pay a fee for discontinuing our contact with 8ta seeing as they cant provide a stable service? 8ta rep .....

I do pay, as I see benefits. As for the second question, I fully agree. Just remember that you have signed contract which had been declared by athorities as not being CPA compliant and this matter is still not resolved.
