Hospital Plans opinions and Surgery stuff

I am looking at acquiring a hospital plan as my future looks to be filled with lots of visits to the hospital.
Any experience with brands? Clientele? Hollard? Fedhealth? etc...
Good? Bad? etc...
Do hospital plans cover surgery as described below?

Secondly, About a month ago I fell down the stairs and dislocated my arm from my shoulder.
They sedated me and put it back in with a reduction. and I went around with a sling.

So 2 days ago, I fell out of bed and dislocated it again, along with lots of bruising on my head/neck. :wtf:
I tried to put it back in myself, but that didn't work very well
This time they gave me local anesthetic and put it back in.
Suddenly it seems that I may need surgery in the future to fix the ligaments/tendons/rotator cuff thingy.

P.s I have hypermobility/double jointedness in my shoulders( I can bend my elbow behind my head to below my ear)
I think this is also an issue
Anybody have recurrent dislocations?
I'm also not sure if its a good idea to relocate it myself. :erm:

There is normally a waiting period and you will have to disclose your current issues.

Yeah, thought so...I hope the need for surgery will arise after this period.

There is normally a waiting period of a year for pre existing conditions or a standard 3 month waiting period before you can claim. I was diagnosed with cancer in November 2012 - no medical aid - had to pay cash for all my treatments (private hospitals). It kicked in in January this year and is now paying for everything - a huge weight off my shoulders!

I dislocated my middle finger on my right hand last year and relocated it myself very painlessly.
I hadn't realised the damage was way worse, I had broken a bone in my hand as well.
I now have a bump on the top of my hand which is like death if I bump it.
