Hotels irritate me

I am sick of hotels. You get here, are made to "feel special" cos everyone greets you by name, then made to feel like a stooge cos you don't tip every tom **** and harry. Man - at $250 a night they had better pay their staff properly, including the guy who brings your room service. Why must I tip the doorman, cab driver, room service guy, etc. etc. just cos when I phone reception they greet me by name. I find it most irritating. I feel like deliberately being a stooge... maybe I'll take a leaf out of Mr Bean's book and get a box of peppermints.
