Game of Thrones spinoff launch crashes streaming devices

The premiere of the Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon crashed HBO Max's streaming app for numerous users on Sunday, The Verge reports.

Complaints by users on Twitter, Reddit, and other online channels said the app would abruptly exit after the pre-roll ad for the first episode and return to the streaming device's home page.

Weird, my torrent of this had no issues.

Maybe HBO needs to start using better technology.
Watched the first 5 minutes, then turned it off, not going to bother, its crap.

Came through fine from M-Net (on satellite) and haven't seen complaints re online. But it was @ 3am.

Not sure what you mean?

Plex has been pretty good in that respect. Plays pretty much everything. Over time I seem to be migrating to more h265 content though.

I honestly have more content than Netflix.
