How Axxess has made me angrier than I have been in years

My Honest opinion is pay a little more and use someone else.
Axxess is sadly beyond hopeless and i would rather pay more and get decent service.

I am still not getting any response from them after 5 days of substandard connection.

Two of my neighbours took the free Axxess installation deal, and both have moved to other service providers and are much happier.
I am moving as well.

Thanks for the reply! I know this might be a really dumb question, but did they have bad experience from the data they receive from Axxess or from the fibre in general? As I will be using CW for my data and Axxess Fibre just for the connection.

Problem is with ISP and I am sure capacity issues, Fibre line is fine, when I use Telkom guest, speeds are perfect. But remember you need to deal with Axxess for the connection, I am still sitting with an open ticket since Friday. Now log a ticket with AH for example and you will have a response and a solution within 2 hours i have found.

Ah I see, that doesn't sound too pleasing... Will probably give RSA web a go with the line rentals.
Thanks for the information, much appreciated!

I initially requested Fibre from WebAfrica (very bad decision after seeing their Fibre complaints on HelloPeter) after a few months of waiting, I cancelled the request (Which was a headache in itself) and ordered it through Axxess as part of their "Combo" packages earlier this year. Everything was installed and activated within 2 weeks. Haven't had an issue since, but after a thread like this, I can almost expect something to go bad in future.

Scarily enough, as I wrote this post I got a call from WebAfrica (I don't have any services with them and I haven't had contact with them since January) but I didn't pick up...maybe they're spying on me now... :/

Wouldn't be complete without a local (SAIX server) speed test result:

Thanks Sandman, sorry not a technical Guru but interesting to see the results.

Have you compared it to the guest account ?

Looks like the routing is taking strain.

Any idea what they paid to move? The R2850 free installation deal said if you cancel you have to pay back the costs that Openserve charged them, but in another thread somebody has stated that Openserve is not actually charging them anything for installation.

Also want to move away from them before I have a stroke.

They were both told that they were going to be charged, but they laughed it off. 4 months down the line they still have not been invoiced.

Do you mind finding out some more information? How did they get the line transferred without Axxess releasing it?

Much appreciated.
