How can Eskom 2.0 succeed if government couldn't run Eskom 1.0, SAA, Denel, and Transnet?

He's right. ANC and African political parties are great are destroying but terrible at building or even maintaining the gems they "inherited" from evil empires.

"...from a country..." NO!
We can do it as a country - we just cannot do it with the GOVERNMENT we have.
South Africans have proven time and time again our capability in the face of poor odds.

another failed idea from the morons/Idiots in the ANC,
why do people keep believing they can fix problems?

is this a real life example of confirmation bias? we all voted ANC so eventually the ANC will fix itself?

How can it succeed? Easy 5 step process...
1. Appoint a competent board irrespective of race, gender and political connections.
2. Give them enough resources to build a proper power station.
3. Allow the board to appoint a CEO that is competent irrespective of Race, gender or political alliances.
4. Exempt the newly formed company from AA and BBBEE requirements.
5. Do not get involved in the running of the business at all.

Will it work? Most definitely... Wil it happen? Not a chance...

Rest of the world making historic leaps in science, computing, engineering, medicine and astronomy etc. Africa still fighting poverty, crime, disease and of course corruption. Why is there such a great gap and divide?
