How Cell C sorted out my dropped calls/poor voice reception :-)

I've been complaining since November since i moved to cell c.
poor voice reception... non existent data etc...I've trolled so many cell c posts here admittedly.. i was THAT revv'd up!!

Today cell c sent an installer and they installed a signal repeater/booster thingie in my ceiling ( looks like a wireless AP device).. so now i'm getting up to 700kBps downloads, and -60db signal which all together has given me the first class network experience!

WELL DONE CELL C!!!

you have far surpassed my expectation!!!!!!!!

Dear CellC - where can one obtain such a device? Ideally I would mount it on my backpack, seeing that service drops everywhere ;-) (BTW: Same applies for other SPs as well)

Please Cell_C I need a useable & stable voice service in Glencairn Heights, Simon's Town. It's critical for the business I'm in. Roaming on Vodacom is not working for me because I need data too. Porting to Cellc recently was possibly the worst decision in almost 20 years since I first started using mobile phones when GSM first launched in SA.

I stay in Johannesburg and CELL C is non-existent in my house I actually have to go outside to make a phone call and only have 2 bars when making the phone call and in their footprint it shows I should have full signal which I don't have.

CellC told me that my coverage problems would be resolved by June as they were erecting a transmitter in my suburb - this was about 4 months ago. We're into July now, but nothing has changed
