How do I cancel with telkom and not pay penalties?

I need advise, since I joined with telkom 3 months ago, it has been a nightmare, they are incorrectly billing me for 2 devices after incorectly loading my initial contract. They are now charging me for a second phone I never recieved. Plus there is a random debit they took in August which I have not been credited for.

How do I cancel? Surely there is some protection with the consumer protection act, to cancel? for not recieving what I was sold, and not being billed correctly?

I have tried for 2 months to sort this out, but Telkom just won't sort it out, no matter what I try, or who I escalte to.


Is there an address I can go to to speak to a person and return the phone?

I was sold over telesales and I have asked for the recording to show them they gave me the wrong contract, and they say I need a court order.

This just isn't fair.

There's your first problem, in most cases it's a third party company selling contracts "on behalf" of vaodacom, cellc, telkom.
Sorry no real advice for you :cool: but never buy over the phone, always go into a shop
