How do I change scrapers on KODI ?

KODI on my Android box suddenly cannot scrape from TVDB anymore so no new episodes or movies can be added to my library.

I've spent quite a bit of time on the internet and have downloaded and installed other scrapers, no problem.

But: I cannot get KODI to "use them". It stays on TVDB and I cannot find ANY info on internet or in KODI settings where to make it use the scrapers I have installed.

It seems impossible to uninstall or even "turn off" the TVDB scraper.

Anyone that can help please?

I think there is something wrong with the TVDB api at the moment, none of my shows of today have metadata and this is using Plex.

Edit: Also if you go in Kodi to the addon section there should be something called information providers where you can install scrapers I believe.

Edit 2: I just checked on reddit and the TVDB forums and can confirm the TVDB api is offline at the moment.

I can download any add on scraper but I cannot seem to get it "working". KODI only uses TVDb, regardless of all the other scrapers I install.

I cannot find the instruction so as to bypass TVDB and use another scraper in KODI. TVDB is the default it seems...

Don't you just go to where you added your folders as media sources and then it asks you to set the content type, if you go back to that and set content type it should allow you to choose another scraper if you have them installed.
