They have access to Windeed and such, which queries the Deeds office, so has all the details.

I would strip my MOER at an estate agent if they tried that with me..... and I would phone the Agent Principal and **** on them as well...

I can find my stand on the map there is just no details to it, does yours list a phone number?

Did you ask the agent what shes wearing since shes stalking you?

I just signed a lease with a german via an agency for 4 months at reduced rated provided I keep house clean as its for sale but hasn't sold so agent wants to wait til the season and I have to move as someone bought my current digs. Thats all fine. Win win for both parties. German has some revenue on an empty house that is not selling and I need a bargain which it sort of is EXCEPT when I went to show proof of payment of deposit and rent of month 1, the agent says she needs to modify lease as owner now wants to subdivide property which would mean knocking down indoor pool and pool house which is attached to main house but agent doesnt think it will happen during tenancy but wont put head on block.
What are my options?
1. ask for further rent reduction if any demolition happens during next 4 months and insist they cover main house. for dust control?
2. Ask that the lease be allowed to terminate a month earlier at no penalty. ie Dec school hols start of instead of Dec 31?
3. No options I am SOL and must just suck it up and deal with it if it happens.
The owner hadn't returned the signed lease yet with his sig. What do I do?

The agreed-upon terms have changed, so you'd be within your rights to renegotiate as far as I'm concerned. That said, they'd also be within theirs to refuse your offer, and you'd be camped on the street. :D

:whistling: you wish. Make a wish upon a star. Throw all your coins in the nearest fountain. *whispers* your wish is not coming true

Thats kind of sucky isn't it. Ah pfft who needs a small indoor pool anyway. Maybe get a pet crocodile or something to keep us entertained until the builders come. Yapping Malteses will be a thing of the past.
