How Do We Colonize Venus?

Since humans first began looking up at the skies, they have been aware of Venus. In ancient times, it was known as both the “Morning Star” and the “Evening Star”, due to its bright appearance in the sky at sunrise and sunset. Eventually, astronomers realized that it was in fact a planet, and that like Earth, it too orbited the Sun. And thanks to the Space Age and numerous missions to the planet, we have learned exactly what kind of environment Venus has.

I don't have a problem with people saying how if we did this and this we could make Mar or Venus habitable but when people are like the earth is doomed we got to find new homes to live on, I just think that is the stupidest thing.
It's a lot easier to reverse damage to an established eco system than to try build one with out the basic tools.
plus with almost 8 billion people on the planet now and how many thousands of years humans been affecting the ecosystem, and earth is a balanced ecosystem. To change a planet that well that would take a force far stronger than a space agency could ever dream of employing.

To this articles credit they don't do the only hope for man bit and do talking about colonizing as apposed to terraforming but do dislike those who fail to see the incredible scale we deal with when talking about whole planets.

Sure, but it comes down to not putting all your eggs in one basket.
Also we might not have the skills now to do it, but we need to start working on it so we can learn more about what's needed.

We need brave and strong leaders who will do anything to complete their mission. I therefore nominate the entire ANC to be sent as initial colonists for this noble venture.

Man's desire to explore the unknown will always be the driving force to continue with technology innovation which will eventually solve the problem of colonising other planets, even ones that appear to be hostile at the moment.

As to why? Well any answer will do including the cliché, "because it is there".

Sure true enough, but going through scientific exercises like these helps us understand what is happening on earth better and we are developing the tools needed to cope with the crises we are creating for our self's here

A more appropriate place might be Uranus. Wait... That came out wrong.
