How do you increase the ring time on a Samsung phone?

I tried once on another phone and it removed the ability to take voicemail and had to get a new sim card....

Got this from Google:
  1. Enter the dial code: On the keypad, type in 61321* followed by the number of seconds you want your phone to ring for (e.g., 6132130** for 30 seconds).
Is this correct, will it work for SA phones?

Samsung make an otherwise quality phone yet don't allow for the ring time to be adjusted.

No idea, i use a phone. I'm not like the Apple acolytes who devout themselves to their devices.

I think that is for overseas operators.
That's the mistake I made last time, using an overseas number.

best bet then is to speak to your service provider - for example i personally would go in to the nearest MTN store - i tried looking at their app to see if it allows for things like this but it doesn't so i reckon they could do it for you if you visit them and ask

EDIT : Samsung don't set the ring timer before forwarding to voicemail hence why they don't have any settings for this - your service provider does this which is why i say you are better off chatting to them about it
