Which one works best for RAIN??Indeed there are.

B618-22d if it's primarily used for rain as it supports the 2600mhz used by rain. B618-65 is used with telkom's 2300mhz and is better for general use with all networks.Which one works best for RAIN??
Thanks. Does it support aggregation on RAIN? Does it show 4G+? Otherwise there is no use for me over this against the B315..B618-22d if it's primarily used for rain as it supports the 2600mhz used by rain. B618-65 is used with telkom's 2300mhz and is better for general use with all networks.
I can't confirm with the b618-22d as I have the 65 version with telkom, my b618-65 does show 4G+ so I would assume both versions will support the same technology.Thanks. Does it support aggregation on RAIN? Does it show 4G+? Otherwise there is no use for me over this against the B315..
Thanks. Will assume it supports it as they use 1800mhz and 2600mhzI can't confirm with the b618-22d as I have the 65 version with telkom, my b618-65 does show 4G+ so I would assume both versions will support the same technology.
You people cock it up for normal users.....Thought to ask,
how far have you pushed your uncapped RAIN Sim card? before you get banned/throttled/disconnected?
myself, highest I dared was 800GB, but no further afraid of getting cut off,
a colleague of mine just said he did 1,7 TB, although I don't really believe that is possible,
@cavedog I thought it had been established that no router currently available could combine the 2 rain bands?I can't confirm with the b618-22d as I have the 65 version with telkom, my b618-65 does show 4G+ so I would assume both versions will support the same technology.

What about the Tplink Mr-200?
Thanks, so OP is obviously not on rain when they see 4G+They don't. I have both and on Rain it's only 4G. I'm not aware of any router available that does support this and Rain also knows this as I have an email from one of the big guys at Rain confirming there isn't one available and they are looking at alternatives.

Just an update if you're interrested. Paid my order yesterday morning, got the sim delivered today and activated just before 17h00. My co-worker had a B315 lying around at home which he brought to work. Hooked it up without any additional antennas. Got 12mbps down and 15mbps up with a ping time of 19ms. If this is consistant it is a real bargain @ R250pm...Which package or whatever its called did you get... I am contemplating this to supplement my ADSL to get around low upload speeds
Those are moderate speeds for most of the people here. Some hit about 60mbps down. Hopefully, it gets better for you in a different locationGot 12mbps down and 15mbps up with a ping time of 19ms. If this is consistant it is a real bargain @ R250pm...
I thought Rain is data SIM only, no VOIP.No. Only if you use a voip service
