How many SA households earn more than R200,000 per month

A report by Standard Bank shows that more than 10 million households (10 193 205) in South Africa earn less than R7,167 per month,while a small elite population earns more than R196,668 per month.

If I and my siblings started earning as well we'd easily manage the R200k mark, I have a friend who lives as a family of 14, it would be quite easy for them.

I could swear we had the exact same title not too long ago.

Anyway, only 0.4% earn over R200k after tax? I am surprised, thought it would be more. SARS should look into this, as I am sure that these figures are skewed by offshore accounts.
