How much could I sell my MacBook Pro for?

How much could I sell my MBP for? Its a 2.4Ghz Core2Duo, 1GB Ram, 15" Screen, Unibody with Express card slot, 500GB harddrive, 8months warranty, Wireless Microsoft Laptop mouse (Bluetooth),

Probably about R12-14k. I think you loose out with only 1GB Ram, and the fact that you can now get a MBPro 13" for about R15k or so brand new which is what alot of people would go for.

I doubt you would get R14k for it, I would say between R10k and R12k.

don't rely on this , just a guesstimate - R10000-12000. Maybe a little bit more if you had extra RAM.

Check gumtree to compare, I quickly had a look, some of the asking prices are too ambitious in my opinion.

Unless you 'need' to sell IT gear, it rarely makes frugal sense to do so.

I wanna get two mac mini's instead. Dont do much traveling anymore so no real need for a laptop.

It would be worth your while adding 1GB extra RAM for R200 odd bucks before you sell it. People put a lot more value on RAM than what it costs these days.

Does this Macmini have a SuperDrive? Is it the latest one?

It does have a superdrive, however it's one model before the latest one I think. I can check later and give you the part number (it's my home computer). It came with OSX Leopard and iLife 08 loaded on it and it's definately an intel machine.

Don't use it too often, so it's in really great condition. Have the box, remote and discs with it too.
