How much do you spend on fuel per month?
I am curious, how much mileage do you drive a month ?It depends a bit on where the work is, but generally R10 000.00 or more.
Suddenly my R4k odd a month doesn't seem so rough..It depends a bit on where the work is, but generally R10 000.00 or more.
I bet the time saved on the commute is more than worth the pay cut tooR500 - R1000/month.
Transport costs changed for my family a lot in recent years.
I lived 60km from work and my wife's work was 80km's away in the opposite direction.
When we had our daughter, we decided we couldn't do the long commutes anymore, and my wife got another job and we moved. We both worked about 20km away from home in the same direction, so we traveled together most of the time.
Now I live 6km from work and the wife works from home. I do 12km a day where I used to do 120km, the wife does 8km a day (to school and back twice a day), where she used to do 160km.
Both of us took pay cuts when we decided to moved away from Gauteng, but what we save on transport more than makes up for it.
I bought the new bakkie at the end of September last year and it is just about due for its 35 000km service. December and the early part of January don't count as business is very quiet so I probably only did about 1 000km in that period. The average each month is probably around 5 to 6 000km a month, with a fair amount of that towing a large trailer that is used as a livestreaming production studio and the back of the bakkie filled with cameras and tripods.I am curious, how much mileage do you drive a month ?
No, one that tells you how much you are coughing up on fuel levies........again.5 to 6k ,depends on the amount I travel for work.
Is this survey for another how much south Africans are savings on fuel article?
