How much does it cost to get a gun license

Someone a few hundred posts ago recommended a company that can help with the process.

This still recommended or something anyone can figure out?
 
What's the current cost of a new application as they normally want exact money

There isn't really anything someone can do from the start, as you say it is up to your DFO's competence and willingness to "speed" up your application.
You can only be assisted after 90 business days have passed from submission, for example, GOSA will send a letter of demand on your behalf to CFR etc.
However, if your application is not captured within six (6) weeks by your local DFO then you can contact him/her directly, or if you wish approach the station commander.

I've run 200 rounds through it so far, 2 jams but they were reloads from Diplopoint.
 
Glock 45 was approved on 20th May, 52 days waiting for my card. Anyone got a card recently?
