How much internet do you use as a percentage?

Uncapped Business ADSL on a 10Mbps line ... during office hours normal web traffic, after hours pushed to the max. So I would say about 60 - 65% utilization

My gut would say 30% - about 8hrs a day on average.

Hmm, maybe I'm overthinking this, I have a capped 10mb line.

But theoretically, lets say a 10mb line can pull 1MB a second.

That means for a month you should be able to pull 31*24*60*60=2678400MB. Or 2615GB.

I use 200GB a month on a capped account, so it gets used 7.6%.

Every few months or so. Not for the reason you might think though. Most of my usage is from streaming.

150GB Cap on 10Mbps,
so 5% as an average. Always use up the cap within ~5GB.
Most of the time it lies idle and then has a huge usage spike, e.g.



Usually it's more even, as in 1/2GB each day and then 15GB days at random whenever I want/need something such as on the 47GB day it was: Microsoft Visual Studio Professional + JDK + some tutorials.

I found out this weekend I used 187GB in the last month.

I don't recall actually downloading anything so I'm guessing thats all streaming.

By the way total usage of the line is maximum 60%, meaning that even with 30 odd users on the connection we are far from maxing it out.

Streaming from early in the morning 'till bedtime. There's always someone at home during the day using the internet. Don't download much anymore, so the only time my line rests is when everybody is asleep.
