How much money do you earn? And how do you spend it?

Yikes, paying more on your car than your bond.

I feel like the priorities are wrong here.
Maybe he/she only needs a flat and doesn't want a big house?
Also, maybe he/she is very much into cars and if one can afford it, why not?

I pay more for my car than our bond but our house is probably worth 8 times my car.

Is that by choice?

Not particularly, it is just how things worked out, I bought the car before I got divorced and didn't own any property at the time. I am in the process of selling the car, for various reasons, one of which is to free up some finances to pay off the bond quicker.

I feel that's a smart choice.

Pumping cash into the bond to get rid of that burden is a good move. Even if that means having to downgrade your car, it's worth it.

Seriously?
Fantastic salary for an electrical engineer in late 20s.
I can't believe it.
Would love to know what role you currently in and which company pays this.
Great stuff
