How often do you wash your jeans?

I was my jeans about once every 2 months, unless they got dirty (I sit in an office all day).
Once a week I spray them down with a dry wash spray to deodorize and keep them clean.
In the event that they smell but are clean then I put them in the freezer to kill any bacteria.

After so many blowouts I decided to do research and found out washing jeans once a week was a bad idea, hence why I am following the routine above.

Weird then how almost every biolab in the world uses freezers to store their bacteria.

Freezer? How about a tumble through the drier? Putting on warm clothes is fantastic.

Haha, you are right. I have not actually done it, I just read it while doing research and filed it under "things to do down the line." But a quick google proves my brain was off that day, because its BS.

This is the stuff I use on my jeans. I ran out of the denim one, but I still have the original and the delicates sprays.
It used to be on TA, but its harder to find now.

Jean's should be washed? What sort of colonial voodoo is this?
I don't feel like spending R1800 on Levis every year. So I decided to do some research and figure out the best way to keep them looking the best they can. Washing denim too often makes the colour fade.

Did you not go to their "take as much as you can" sale in Durban earlier this year?

It's also a shape thing. They never feel like they fit quite the same after the first wash.

Alas, I did not. I was in hospital with COVID and could not take advantage of that special. Plus its hard to get 501 in a 34 leg with a 36 waist. My height is a pain.

I have a pair of raws that have been washed soaked for an hour and then rinsed exactly once in 5 years. Another set of vintage Japanese selvedge that I'll never wash.

Levi's I wait for my wife to complain a few times before I cave.

At least once every two years, but I have several jeans so it possible that some go longer without a wash. The younger one is, the more washing they require. Cum and puke stains, stinking like cannabis etc.
My people! I know of exactly one other punk on this forum.
