Architecture CAD software isn't the same as 3D Moddeling software, but I agree with you that macOS has a ways to go before they're anywhere close to what people can do with Windows machines and 3D stuff.

They’re crediting rendering. Design is practically the same on both.

Rendering engines aren't even the same when it comes to architecture, 3D modeling for games etc. Plus, there are separate external engines you can use if you so wish, ie. LuxCore, Octane X, Houdini.

Anyway it's just an ad there's no need for us to get too deep into it I guess lol.

Many architects use stuff like max to render their design. 3ds max is particularly handy for cad users. (Hence the price tag) Now realtime is even a selling point for video game engines because you can experience the product with near vray quality and even in vr if you want.

I meant designing will be practically similar on any platform. The article brags about the laptop’s rendering capabilities albeit realtime or not.

There is nothing to brag about a macbook in this field.

Got you. Agreed they still have a while to go before they can get there (if ever), but yeah, PC and Windows are still the champs for anything 3D imo.
