How to block Private Number on Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

Does anyone know how to block Private Numbers on Sony Xperia X3 Compact phone?

tried Trucaller yet?

sometimes it can pick up who the number is and you can block it. sometimes it cant with private numbers. at least that is my experience

Not available using the Os on a Sony. You will need a 3rd party app. +1 for Trucaller

Doesn't really block the number, but here's the solution from a Sony forum:

Main Menu > Contacts > Tap on the contact you want to block > Edit that contact > Menu Button > Tick the "All calls to voicemail" box.

Please be aware that whilst this will prevent calls they will still be able to message you.

Don't think there's a built-in functionality to block the actual call. But if you install the AVG antivirus app, that has call blocker functionality included.

I you don't use voicemail you can change your voicemail number to a number that is not in use, like 123, then the spammer will get a message that the number is not in service.
