you guys simply have to try peders recipe for condensed milk.

my wife got so excited when i told her about it and she tried it out. well she used a litre box milk in it and the other ingrediants and it worked. we actually left it on the stove a little too long so we know now to take it off sooner. we filled 2 x black cat jars with the caramel stuff and she put a spoonful in her tea and will let me know the taste.

well worth it.

Cut sugar out, it's very bad for you. You will soon get used to coffee or tea without sugar and it does taste much better!

Rubbish ..... sugar, as with nearly anything is not bad for you in moderation. To the OP, try the cutting down bit by bit, it works, but you don't have to cut out sugar altogether ;)

No, my plan was to cut down to maybe 1. My wife would like to goe further, cause of our baby not sleeping. We try everything we can think of.

So many years ago, my brother and I were talking about sugar in tea. He said to me (I was taking 2 teaspoons a cup at the time) that if I stopped using sugar today that after a month I would not miss it. I said to him "Nothing can be that easy to give up." He said "Try it, you will see." He was right. I have never used sugar in tea or coffee since.

Compared to giving up smokes, it is painless.

Go to any health shop (and some supermarkets) and buy Xylitol.

It tastes exactly like sugar and is very good for you and your teeth believe it or not. 100% natural product.

I cut down from four to two. Now even 2.5 is too sweet, only sweet stuff i crave for is fudge, not even chocs.
