How to delete a thread?

Hi,

How do I go about to delete a thread? I've posted a thread regarding a company who did not deliver goods as per agreement, but the situation has been resolved satisfactorily. No point in the post sticking and giving them any further bad publicity. It seems I can only edit the post.. Can I contact a moderator to do that?

report the first post with your request as the comment (the little triangle with the exclamation mark on the left of the post footer)

alternatively, post an update and request the thread get closed.

a positive end to a negative story is worth more than an archived post that has been deleted somewhere.

Because it's annoying to contribute some meaningful post to a thread and the person just decides to delete the threads for the lolz. It's good that people can't delete their own threads all the time. Can't actually think of any forums that allow people to delete their own threads.

Why start the thread in the first place ?

Update your thread about the u-turn so others will know how to deal with said company.
