How to disable telnet port on Telkom Pots Router

Hi

How do I disable the Telnet port on the Telkom Pots router. I cahnged the telnet port to 89, deleted all the telnet usernames, changed the web interface usernames / passwords and changed the http port as added security measures. I did a port scan on grc.com and telnet and pop3 seems to be open on the router.

How do I disable this or can this not be done?

Hi it must be possible. In all honesty, I haven't tried it but there are some topics on this forum addressing this very issue. What I have done though, and you everybody should do, is change the username and password details before you do anything else! Oh, and keep the details stored in a printed form somehwere safe....
