My problem is the really terrible connection IS currently has. I cant finish downloading a file before the packet loss monster hits me and the download times out.

HP have also made life hard .. and none of my download managers work. Does anyone know a way to download off their site with a download manager?

I use Free Download Manager (windows) with their site.

Have they upgraded their site recently?

RedHat is another prime example - they use dynamic links which time out after a while, and when you try to download a CD/DVD ISO image, the dynamic link tend to change to something else and your download borks. I managed to download a RHEL5 DVD image... via PirateBay before they closed it down.

Companies who does things like this really grate my carrot as they are not providing a service at all.

Wiz I just tried it now, my free download manager picks it up every time. Otherwise let me know the driver you looking for and I will paste you the direct link to the file which you can just stick into your download manager.

They normally provide ftp links. If you change it to http it works, quicker as well though YMMV.
