So my laptop was saying my hard drive is full. (320Gb). But Iike im only using about 150 Gb for movies and series. Stored neatly in one central location. So where is all my space ?
Not An IT guru but here's my solution which worked for me.....

WInDirStat

It's a small piece of software that scans your drives in every single location even hidden ones and shows you exactly whats eating how much space and where it is.

Turns out it was photoshop creating large temp files about 8Gb per file. I deleted them and my space came back. So it really is a helpful piece of software, let me know if you know any other better solutions.

My settings says I have 226GB of apps. It lists apps that aren't on the disc anymore as I moved them to an external after install, it doesn't others that I copy-pasted, etc.
It's a nice to have that doesn't really work.
(According to the space sniffer I have ~350GB of apps, 24GB is Guild Wars 2 which doesn't even feature in the Apps & Games list. It got put in other, which doesn't really help as there are a ton of sub-folders in C:\Games. At least my VM's are correctly classified as Other under %Profile%\VM)

Your use case is strange :wtf: don't think it'll ever work with that.

They've updated it in the Creators update also.

Lol? You don't just delete programs (without uninstall) or copy paste them from another machine?
Why would I put games in program files, I don't want to run them with admin privileges.

Get Ccleaner(trial version is fine) you can check what files are taking up your space and delete the files straight off Ccleaner

I use Spacesniffer and "Everything" (Search app) all the time. Great apps.
