Ok so my work colleague obviously went and updated all his Icrap devices to the latest firmware. Now every 5 minutes any Icrap device will ask him for the SSID password. Needless to say everything Windows and Linux works flawlessly. So how do I fix this issue? With the last update Thunderbird gave error, one before that Safari errors etc.... Every time I catch wind of a update I want to put sick leave in and not show up to work for a week.

Oh on a side note, he must switch his usb 3.0 hub off, because it interferes with the wireless. We tested it on my Samsung WINDOWS 8 laptop and no issues. So what causes that on icrap devices?

The Apple superior technology is far more advanced than the usb3.0 hub and wireless networks. It must be a problem on those devices not the Apple.

On a serious note, try forget the network then re-join it.

What is an "Icrap" device?

I got that from Ifix, so when someone asks me why am I going to Ifix I would say to fix my Icrap. :p (I had two Macbooks in the past, one a hand me down and the other I got for R3000, at that time they were valued at about R7000 secondhand, so I figured why not)

Yeah this is so random on the Iphone, it works for 5 minutes, asks for new key, works for 20 minutes, asks for new key etc....

I've had that problem once some years ago. An easy fix was to reset the iPhone/iPad and restore from a backup. Pretty quick and solved the problem entirely.
