How to get a Vodacome SMS Alert when your Prepaid Data Bundle Expires or is Used up?

I'm a prepaid Vodacom user, is there anyway to setup getting an SMS Alert when the Prepaid Data Bundle Expires or is used up?

I sometimes get an sms when there's 4.89mb of data remaining, ok great but I need an sms the minute the bundle is used up or expires so I don't go into R2/mb league.

Is that asking to much?

I'm assuming that not sending an sms upon a data bundle expiring/used up is a premeditated plan of Vodacom for generating some healthy profits?

Why not buy a new bundle when the 5mb sms is received? It's not like you lose the data.

I suppose that is a solution but I don't use lots of data and I try to recharge as little as possible seeing the bundles only last for 30days.
The logical solution is bundle finished/expired notification, can't be that hard if they can send one at 5mb?

The validity of the bundles get added together. So that 5mb gets another 30days to be used.

Or since you are on prepaid you could move to MTN to has 60days validity.

This is issue is still bugging me, often I don't even get the 5mb notification sms, the bundle just runs out or it expires(after 30days) and I jump straight onto R2/mb. Often that means R10-20 wasted before I notice sometimes more, blazed through R50 the other day.

I used to get an sms when the bundle was depleted or expired(ie didn't deplete the bundle but the window to use it was reached), how do I get that sms, is it some settinsg or USSD command I must run to enable it?

I can't be the only one experiencing this issue?
Am I supposed to be receiving an sms or notification when my data expires?

I had the same issue, solution was to migrate to MTN.
There is no point in playing space cowboy or $64,000,000 Man in resolving this problem. Airbourne request the assistance of VodacomData to resolve this problem. Talk is cheap but actions dictate the pace. :)
