How to get credit for cancelled Kulula flights

Kulula operator Comair and its business rescue practitioners have confirmed options for customers, companies, and travel agents or groups who have purchased tickets for flights that were cancelled due to the lockdown.

Comair previously said it was required to stop flying on 26 March 2020, and it has not operated passenger services since this date.

It expects the national lockdown will mean the grounding of flights will likely to continue until October or November.

If you become a creditor what is the chance of getting your money back? I assume it will only be a percentage?

Yeah I don't know what to do, ask for the voucher to use up to October 2021 or become a creditor , but yeah what are the chances I get a full refund, but if they survive business rescue and all is good are we still entitled to a refund? Or is the refund only of they go bust?

Just found out about this. I have a flight booked for a few months time.

Anyone applied for a creditor? What are your chances of getting your money back?

If you keep the unflown ticket and extend to 31 Oct 2021, what happens if they go bang? You will lose your money anyway?

Submissions have to be in by 17 June :eek:

After 5 months nagging and a letter to the CEO of Virgin Travel in the UK, I received 100% of my cruise fare back from Imagine Cruising. which had me on their ignore list.

Also, Holland America Line will refund the out of pocket expenses (tour could not cancel, AirBnb 50% fee, insurance shortfall)

Delightful travel ins co said that since Covid-19 is not a nominated risk, they would not pay. Insurance Ombudsman agreed with them, even though I bought policy in Sep 2019 when covid-19 was not a word

Refund exceeded R130 000

Just applied as a creditor. Let's see how this goes

Duped, so now they say they'll pay back 1 to 2 cents per rand owed... :rolleyes:
..over 2 years... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

...starting December 2021 :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
