Interesting RE mothballs. I contacted a professional and he says he uses a combination of chloroform and aluminum phosphate pellets. I looked online and I can get chloroform online for about R500 - just worried it might be bad for the environment?

Why spend R500. Buy a a chicken in the supermarket, leave it for a day or two in the sun to go off and burry it in the hole. It is just as effective no pollution of the environment and cheaper. I promise you it worked on the farm where I grew up.

Get mothballs. Works brilliantly. It doesn't kill them. But they hate it. I don't have mole problems anymore. When I see a hole, I chuck one in. They disappear quickly.
