Maybe a blessing. Started off well with better ADSL connection, but now no voice service for 3 days. ADSL more down than up.

Don't be so sure - last time I was online at home speedtest showed quite a drop from my normal speed. Will check again tonight.

So I get home today and my internet is down. I call my ISP and they reset the line. My line connects again and it says I am now synch'ing Downstream at 10237 Kbps and Upstream at 1023 Kbps.

Does this mean they have finally fixed the problem. Speedtest.net shows downstream at 8.91Mbps.

So far some of the sites seem to be faster, but to be honest, I have gotten so used to my usual speed, I'm finding it hard to differentiate.

Anyways, WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO.. it looks like I am now synch'ing at the speed I have been paying for the past 4 years...

Anyone else getting faster speeds!

Just did a test on putlocker.is and on HD movies it is working much better. Allows me to jump around the movie with no buffering required etc....

Hmm. last night I popped onto You Tube quite late and thought things were quicker than usual...but put it down to being a low demand period. Will need to check.

Having connectivity issues though, today. Intermittent.

When trying to log a fault with Telkom it says that there is a known fault in the area....
