That r100 is what is ruining any semblance of law and they get paid to stand in the sun all day , would you tip your bank at the end of the month for looking after your money ?
If we didn't pay that R100 thy'd not be on the streets trying to catch people. I see it as a tip.
The banks take that R100 by charging you for things like emails and sms's. I don't have a problem giving a bridge troll R100 to go buy a coke, they've got a shitty job that everyone hates, while trying to save lives. Occasionally one of them takes a dashboard ride for our entertainment. Totally worth it.

Hell no, but I will gladly pay the R100 if it means I do not get a R1k fine, even worse being arrested, locked up, spending tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands on attorneys to represent me in court. The judicial system, as well as law enforcement in SA has failed. Each to their own if they want to lose that R100 or not.

How's this for nostalgia.
Give them a break and give them R100, or at least a coke.
But whatever you do don't take them for a ride on your bonnet. unless she's a good boetebessie wat net `n bietjie liefde bring.

By the way, I think cops need to catch up with the times. They should sign up with Snapscan and generate a R100, R500 and R1000 barcode. Accept electronic payments. Much easier and faster than driving around and dealing with cash all the time.

All i am saying is if you engage in bribery and corruption then you cannot complain about a lawless state.
It is like every other market supply and demand , if nobody paid bribes then cops wouldnt waste time asking , and if you used cameras you wouldnt even need to worry about that part.

Da law she was broken long before I decided to start paying bribes. I complained about it long before and still complain today. But, since it is all broken I just prefer the easy way out. You know, when in Rome.....

And, you know, with the new Aarto Act and the points system... well, you can spend a few days in jail, spend tens of thousands on attorneys, spend months in court, still be convicted, lose points, even your license. If R100 saves me from all this...... then happiness.

narc... don't be a pedo guy.
It's a win-win situation for everyone. R100 spot fine to be allowed to speed a little.

No problem , then quit complaining about any other laws being broken .
Also as a life tip , stop admitting to crimes on the internet ......alphabet agencies monitor things.

Well I used to have to the habit of keeping only a small amount of cash in my wallet and keeping the rest of my cash in my pocket.

Once I forgot my license at home and was stopped by the cops, so he asked me how much I got. I then pulled out my wallet and open to show him that all I had was R20, he took and let me pass with no issue
