Anybody know how Buffalo calculate their admin fee?

I mostly paid R10 and sometimes R20 and now suddenly R30......

The below parcel value was only $11 and contained electronic components

anyone know what this means? "return goods"

I did phone buffalo, they said this package is not assigned to them, but I need not worry.

That is new. All of mine has been R10 so far. Have another one incoming that has not been hit as of yet, so will see...

I expected it to climb a bit since R10 is crazy - not that I want them to know that. With the amount of parcels I suspect that they do they can pocket quite a bit by simply increasing their fees like this.

Is anyone else getting a "server busy" error when logging in to Gearbest?

Mine has been like this for a week. I have to use the app

Nope. Works on this side (at least, last night). They had a face-lift though - might be related?

I'm using Chrome on Windows 10. I have an order awaiting shipping, can log in and check status, browse etc with no problem.

Can you see your orders and tickets etc? I can login but when i try to see my info I get that error

Logged in last night to view an order, get my tracking number etc and then tracked it on 17track without an issue.

I assume you have cleared your cookies/tried another browser/tried incognito mode/etc?

Ok. I've tried another PC and its working. Guess I'll have to clear cookies etc.

Just thought i'd share because this thread helped me a lot. Especially in convincing my to finally order with Gearbest.

Placed an order on Wednesday 27/02 evening late for a Redmi Note 5 + screen protector and case.
Friday got confirmation that DHL had picked up the phone.
I called DHL on Sunday because i saw on the tracking details it had arrived in JHB, they were super helpful and i had my invoice in 5 mins for the customs charges which were R547.00.
Got the phone on Monday 04/03 at 11am.
For the screen protector and cover i messed up and accidentally chose the unregistered shipping option, i messaged Gearbest on Friday to change the option and they said they could do "Middle East Line" which is Aramex.
Monday Aramex collected the cover and case, so still waiting on that. Will update when i get them.

All in all im super happy with the whole experience so far. Totally worth going with DHL. As hungover as i was on Sunday, the DHL staff certainly were not!

Edit: Forgot to mention, i also messaged Gearbest on Thursday and requested the phone be labeled as a "Media Player", im not sure if it was just them or at my request but thats how it came. Got a bit worried on Sunday because after i paid the customs charge it got stopped for inspection, but 30 mins later it was cleared. No extra charges or anything.

Sorry if I missed this but I haven't been following the thread - is anybody running into issues with the 3 imports per year limit?

Be careful of banggood.

Decided to try them again on 4 Feb - items were out of stock. They kept delaying my refund until I said I'd buy something else. Specifically chose items in stock - processing 24 hours - only for them to be out of stock.

Requested a refund again - was told it'd be done in 24 hours - nothing - then told it would now be 7 days - again nothing. I've opened a case with paypal. (end of this week is two weeks)

My latest parcel is also showing R30 admin fee. :(

Anyone know what "6" means when shipping with Buffalo

The flight was cancelled. I have a parcel that was scheduled to depart on that same flight it seems. When tracking via http://www.buffaloex.com/index_en.html or https://www.17track.net The full line reads: Flight cancel 6 March
