Okay so now they asked me for my ID which I probably replied within 10 seconds so after this I'm liable to pay and receive my package?

I can't remember if I got the R24 payment required with my ID SMS request or after the fact.

Service fee : R10.00

So after much to-ing and fro-ing my blower should arrive at Aramex for customs clearance this afternoon.
Took some patience and logging a dispute through AliExpress with BlackView but I managed to eventually get an MSDS out of them
Now to deal with customs ....
BV9500 finally arrived.
Ordered and paid for through BlackViews online global store on AliExpress 20 October(special price including wireless charger at the time was $252 after coupons etc). Shipped to AGS HongKong address and then on to SA after much b!tching, moaning and logging a dispute to get an MSDS out of the supplier ...arrived 20 Dec. (I was away so only paid fees 26th Dec) .
Total 3638(device)+1606(shipping&customs) = R5,244
Currently around R6,600 on blackview.co.za and R7,800 at ruggedsa.co.za without the wireless charger... so not bad; but I'm not sure all the frustration of getting the MSDS out of BlackView was worth the saving. Maybe if the exchange rate was better
I was actually quite impressed with AGS and tracking on their android app

Yesterday it said shipping between 31 Jan and 3 Feb today it says 22 Jan to 25 Jan fingers crossed

I opened a support ticket with them weeks ago and finally got the answer that they will have stock on 21 January.

My problem is that I'm leaving the country on 29 January.

Do you think my order will have arrived by then?

I used DHL Express + insurance - is that faster than Buffalo? It should be, according to this - https://www.gearbest.com/about/shipping-methods.html

Even if it ships in 3 days, it will get stuck at customs for another 3 days. Best to try and get pre-clearance as soon as it leaves the warehouse.

Seems like Buffalo parcels will only be delivered from 7 January again. I just spoke to them about several of my parcels that have been showing "Inbound Manifest to hub" since last week. Was advised that the warehouse was closed and only reopened on 2 January and deliveries will start on Monday 7 January 2019.

Strange when I spoke to them I was advised they are busy with all the parcels but deliveries will only start on Monday
I think the guy tried to deliver today. But I'm not at work. I did pop in quickly and saw a missed call from a cell number on my work number (which I gave to Buffalo), so I'm sure he wanted to deliver. Will probably get it on Monday.
