Hey guys

Need some advice, if I got R50000 and would like to put in in an offshore account.

How do I go about doing this, and what implications would there be with SARS, and how would I go about doing this?

I am just very worried that the Rand might just jump to R30 to the Dollar.

Where should I open an account and what type of account?

Thanks

I might just crawl back into my cave, but what cave might I find myself in?

With all the talks of land reform and this and that I do not know? that is why I am asking.

I think you should look for Isle of Man bank.
Think the have a minimum of U$5k to open an account.

Just keep in mind that the money won't be earning any real income. So you're losing approximately 2% in real value per year.

That said - I'm also betting the zar will weaken.

I'd stick it in EUR given a choice.
