How to prove you are NOT the hacked party?

Ok, so that complicates things a little, I guess, unless you are able to go to the other party in WCAPE and get the headers/attachments yourself? I'm assuming the lawyers are in JHB. If you can arrange to get the headers and attachments, I'm prepared to take a look and see if I can find some discrepancies for you.

The above notwithstanding, it sounds like you can make a case that the lawyers didn't follow their own stated procedures, and verify the account details directly with the concerned parties. In which case, they are almost automatically liable (in my non-lawyer opinion).
