How to remove "S" MARK from stolen recovered vehicle

I discovered my vehicle from house robbery last year (08 September 2020) within 24hours i reported it stolen and this year since January i tried to renew a disc the system report "S" MARK on it.

Ive been to local police station and local traffic department to remove "S" mark its three month now every time the police officer tells me that "S" MARK has been removed but when i visit traffic department they tell me that "S" mark is not being removed.

I don't know what to do now

I once had a similar problem, saw the door was open, went in , where the tellers were, they tried to force me out, two traffic cops wanted to force me out, I made a scene, to boss came, ask me what is wrong, they fix my problem, I walk out a happy man.

So ummmm.... I'm suffering from the same issue, my car was stolen in June and recovered in July (with an extra 10000 km on the clock), engine number and vin number haven't been tampered with, I alas have also been sent from pillar to post since July, bouncing around between Tembisa and Chloorkop, I've now been told my case is currently sitting at Provincial Head Office in Park Town with no update since 30 September 2021, problem is, I've just started a Job in Springs and don't wanna take a day off while I'm still in my probation period to go sit at the station, the phone just rings when you try to call them, I've been calling all month at least twice a day, I even called my local station to get the head office commander's cell phone number, but that phone is off (truecaller confirms it to be the correct number though). did your issue get resolved once you went to the station ?

Insurance paid some cash to get the damage on the car fixed. the car is fixed now, but I still can't drive it without a license disk.
