You can use your N80, just depends on how you want to connect to your PC. your PC should also be compatible with the medium you connecting your N80.. eg bluetooth. so either need usb bluetooth adapter or built in. So load your PC suite and connect your phone to the Pc/laptop open your PC suite , and click on the internet connection .. and violla...

Thanks for your reply.

Last night I connected my laptop and my N80 with the data cable provided and it did connect to the internet. However it was through GPRS and was very slow, in fact it took just over 30min to download 2.5 Megs. Now I know sure that this is not the kind of speed GPRS is capable of delivering. Is there someything I could change or check to increase this speed?

The area I live in falls just outside 3G.

well if you connect to the internet you can always do a speed test. Myadsl has sites available for that. http://www.mybroadband.co.za/myadsl/speedtest.php . Also remeber GPRS EDGE and 3G is all packet based. but gprs works on the old infrastructure so if voice is bust GPRS will be slow and vice versa.. But generally no you cant really chanmge anything as the network allocates resources.

But do a speedtest. GPRS should be quicker than that at least, maybe the network was a bit slow on that particular day..

Just ensure that you have the newest version of the Nokia Data Suite as the one on the CD is usualy very old.

PS. Don't try and download this via GPRS ........ about 30-40 MB
