Hi guys,

Does anyone know how I could setup my PC to use a different ADSL account? I am using windows 7 and I just signed up with Afrihost and got the details but I am no sure if this is possible? My curren account only accepts 1 Concurrent connection, could this affect me adding another account?:wtf:

donnybrasco, it depends on your router settings whether you can or cannot dial a different ADSL account from your PC. Your router either has to be in full bridge mode or half bridge mode (aka PPPoE relaying/pass through switched on).

To create a PPPoE connection to your ADSL account in Windows Vista/7, follow these steps:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ZA/windows-vista/Create-a-PPPoE-connection-to-the-Internet said:
  1. Open the Connect to the Internet wizard by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, clicking Set up a connection or network, and then clicking Connect to the Internet.
  2. On the How do you want to connect? page, select Broadband (PPPoE).
  3. Continue to follow the steps in the wizard.
